Director and actors' Bios
Padraig Bond, Director
Padraig Bond is an actor, director, playwright and activist from New York City. He previously served as Artistic Director of Ad Astra Theatre Troupe in Saratoga Springs where he directed his original adaptation of The Trojan Women in 2019. At Hunter College, he is a Theatre and Political Science double major, a Muse Scholar, and Production Manager of Hunter Theatre Company.
Jennie Reich Litzky as Eurydice
Jennie (she/her/hers) is a Junior Muse Scholar studying Jewish Studies and Theater at Hunter College. She is extremely honored to be playing Eurydice and is thankful for this experience. She is also grateful for the amazing cast, crew, and theater department, who continue to create art through this pandemic! Past theater and film credits at Hunter include Proof (understudy Catherine), The Cocktail Hour (Director), The Closet (Danny), Open House (Cassie), Lear (Edmund) and La Casa de Bernarda Alba (Criada).
Ryan Janowski as Father
Ryan Janowski (He/Him) is beyond excited to be playing the role of “Father” in the Goldberg CoLab Virtual Production of Eurydice. When he is not performing on stage (or virtually) he is most likely singing in his apartment or playing with his dog Cody. He would like to thank his friends and family for all of their support.
Naidelyn Cruz as Interesting Man / Child
Naidelyn Cruz is a transfer student who currently studies Film at Hunter College. This is her 5th Hunter production and 1st Zoom performance. She is excited to showcase Sarah Ruhl's Eurydice to the public with this incredible cast and directed by the amazing Paddo Bond, who fun fact owes her money. Enjoy the show!
Nicole Muriel as Big Stone
This is Nicole's first production at Hunter College. She is very excited and grateful to the new people she's been able to meet and especially thankful to her parents and the quarantine who pushed her to audition.
Marlon Moncrieffe as Little Stone
MARLON MONCRIEFFE (Little Stone) is more than a 'little' happy to be playing Little Stone in HTD's production of Eurydice by Sarah Ruhl. Graduated, with honors, from Queens College of New York, he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama and Theatre and is currently in the middle of his Master of Arts degree in Theatre at Hunter College, studying dramaturgy and criticism. He is a member of the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church Theatre Fellowship and has worked as a valued stagehand and backstage manager on such shows as Enchanted April (March 2017); The Game’s Afoot (March 2018), and most recently, Blithe Spirit by Noel Coward (March 2020). As for work on the stage, past roles include Pinky in Our Lady of 121st Street by Stephen Adly Guirgis (Queens College-February 2016); Suzy’s John/Delivery Boy in The Hot L Baltimore by Lanford Wilson (Queens College-May 2016); and Chutes & Ladders in Water by the Spoonful by Quiara Alegria Hudes (Hunter College-April 2019). Also a director, this past April, he made his live streamed directorial debut, with a virtual production of All New People by Zach Braff, a long-time passion project of his.
Grace Brewster as Loud Stone
Grace Brewster (she/her/hers) is a writer, artist, and junior at Hunter College studying English and Theatre, and is thrilled to be involved in Co-Lab! In addition to acting, Grace is a dancer, photographer and aspiring writer/director; most recently, her directing project proposal was selected as a recipient for one of Hunter College’s SAF Grants for Spring 2021. This is her first semester at Hunter and she would like to thank the cast and crew of Eurydice, especially Paddo and Sarah, for making transferring during distance learning feel a little less scary and a little more ~theatrical~. She sends love and gratitude to Mom, Dad, Izzy, Em & David, Eliza and Nick, Lila and Stella.
